If you sign up, we recommend using a protonmail email that is not associated with your identity for the same reasons. Don’t give your real full name! And be aware that your IP is visible to the admins. Expect the site to fall over frequently as we try stuff out!
Your invite email WILL go to spam. So check there! We think you can only have 1 account associated with each email address.
Discourse will probably spam you with email notifications. You should be able to turn unwanted ones off in preferences; if you have questions please ask!
